South Florida artist uses Chromotherapy By James Becher An emerging artist named Kapone, who lives in East Hollywood, Florida has invented a new form of inovenative abstract art using the ancient concept of color healing. Kapone has been working with this concept since 1978. From his knowledge of what each color represents and does for the health of the soul and body, he combines colors boldly in such a way as to create a balance in each painting. For example, since blue brings calming and red brings energy, one of his paintings uses blue and red in mirror positions opposite each other to effect a proper ballance of energy and clamness.
